國民黨總統候選人朱立倫競選總部上午遭20多名抗議人士闖入，與警方肢體衝突。抗議人士發出新聞稿表示，勞動部讓勞工1年失去7天休假，朱立倫作為國民黨主席及總統候選人，應為這樣的政策負責，要求承諾恢復7天國定假日。
王如玄隨後在台北市清真寺拜會中國回教協會行程中受訪說，勞工和軍公教休假，長久發展看，應不分職業貴賤及類別逐漸一致，產假、陪產假等都應不分工作種類給予相同待遇。
她說，這部分政府的確應再加強，要盡快展開對話協商，讓勞工在假別方面與其他行業平等對待。
